Bye bye plastic, hello Alpine Shrine Skincare

Alpine Shrine Skincare

Denver, CO: Launching January 2020 at The Outdoor Retailer Snow Show, Alpine Shrine Skincare is the first brand in the USA to produce premium, all-natural skincare using 100% microplastic-free and biodegradable jars and labels.

Crafted for skiers, climbers, mountaineers, and anyone who loves the great outdoors, Alpine Shrine Skincare makes products that are kind to skin and Mother Nature. Using only the highest-quality and natural ingredients, and packaged in sustainably-sourced and environmentally-friend materials, Alpine Shrine Skincare is delivering a zero-compromise solution to the growing skincare needs of ‘eco-conscious adventurers’.

The first product from Alpine Shrine Skincare is the ‘All-Season Balm’, which rescues extremely dry skin anywhere on the body, including lips, hands, and heels. It is made from 100% pure, all-natural, clinically-tested, and naturally-scented ingredients, including rare Tamanu and Nangai nut oils from the South Pacific. These oils relieve dry skin issues such as cracking, flaking, and irritation leaving the skin feeling hydrated but not greasy.

“As an avid outdoorsman, I love Mother Nature, but she doesn’t give a damn about us, nor our skin,” says founder Colin Constantine. “With this in mind, I wanted to give people a way to look after their skin without using harmful ingredients or damaging nature.”

“The plastic waste crisis is evolving at an alarming rate, affecting every part of our planet, from mountain-tops to ocean-floors. Alpine Shrine Skincare, which proudly sports the PLASTIC-FREE Trustmark Certification, is setting an example that better alternatives do exist, and we need to start making changes now.”

“Not only are our labels plastic-free and compostable, but we use a revolutionary new material, called Sulapac, for our jars. Sulapac is designed to mimic nature by breaking down quickly and leaving no trace. It’s stronger than most poly-plastics, too, which is important for people who need lightweight and durable gear when heading into the wild,” says Colin.

The ‘All-Season Balm’ is the first of many products to come from Alpine Shrine Skincare.

The company will be selling its products both online and with mission-aligned retail partners following the Outdoor Retailer Snow Show.
